Bombay, 20 years olde September 2021: The Kotak Mahindra Group (Kotak) today announced the launch of Kotak Shiksha Nidhi – an initiative to provide financial assistance to students who have lost a parent / parents and / or primary family member due to COVID -19, in order to complete their studies. Kotak Shiksha Nidhi is a collaborative CSR project on education and livelihoods of enterprises of the Kotak Mahindra Group, which is implemented by the Kotak Education Foundation (KEF).

Kotak Shiksha Nidhi is only open to Indian nationals. The application window opens today – 20e September 2021 and KEF will accept application forms until 31st March 2022. Students who have lost a parent / parents and / or primary family member from 1st As of April 2020 and studying in a government recognized state and central council or Indian university in any standard from year one to graduation or graduation (i.e. i.e. from the age of six to 22), are eligible to apply.

The Kotak Education Foundation has partnered with Buddy4Study ^ – one of the largest scholarship platforms in India, to provide Pan-Indian access to students interested in applying for Kotak Shiksha Nidhi.

The selection of eligible students and the level of assistance that can be extended under Kotak Shiksha Nidhi will be at the discretion of KEF and will be based on meeting the eligibility criteria and merit of the application.
