TULSA – For the first time, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) Mobile Assistance Center (MAC) will hold a booth at the 2021 Tulsa State Fair, offering personalized health insurance
registration assistance, customer service, and free diabetic retinal exams for eligible BCBSOK members.
Oklahoma residents who have experienced a qualifying life event in the past 60 days may be eligible to enroll in health care coverage through a special enrollment period. BCBSOK Registration Specialists will be available daily during the show to answer registration questions and verify if they are eligible for financial assistance. Citizens of a federally recognized tribe can register year round.
Free diabetic retinal eye exams will be offered to eligible BCBSOK members on a first come, first served basis at BCBSOK booth 507, located at the Tulsa State Fair from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. BCBSOK will follow CDC guidelines, including social distancing, disinfection, and personal protective equipment for staff throughout the event. Members who pass an exam will be eligible for a draw to win one of the many $ 50 Visa gift cards.
To receive a free diabetic retinal exam, eligible members must be a current member of BCBSOK who has been diagnosed with diabetes
